Adding Term Grades

1. Click the Green Button with the 3 Lines stacked. Green Button.png

2. Click Gradebook, then Gradesheet

3. Select your first course to enter term grades for, you can confirm you are in the right year and course at the top of the screen:

4. Select the term, for example, Semester 2 will show Q4 and S2 grading terms. For the end of the year, you will only enter S2 grades. This is a THREE-step process.

[1] Enter grade overrides from Canvas; [2] Enter comments for the grading period; [3] finalize grade changes for the term

5. Enter PERCENT (%) scores for your students. You will need to click into each box. If you use the district grading scale with +/- grades, you can enter the grade % as seen in Canvas. If you are using whole letter grades, you will want to use a mid-point score such as those shown below (ex. B=85%).

6. Once you enter all % scores, you can add ONE comment then click the GREEN check to apply to all changes.

7. Save and return back the Gradesheet screen for next steps.

Adding Comments for the Grading Period

1. Click on the grading term and now select option [2] View Comments for Grading Period.
Note: Comments are recommended, not required.

2. Enter comments. You can enter comments for the whole class using the top level:

3. Save and return to Gradesheet for next steps.

Save Grade Changes for Term

1. Open the term for the final time for the course

2. Once you have completed all grade entries (percent or S/U/P) and entered comments, you can now finalize. Check "Grade Changes are Completed for: TERM"

Please repeat this for each course you enter term grades for, including TAs.
