Adding Hyperlinks to Text

To insert a link to your text, you will highlight the text, then choose the Link image from the RCE toolbar. You might choose the carrot next to the image which provides more options such as "External Links" or "Course Links." 

 

Either paste the link and save or when you choose "Course Links" a table will slide out on the right side. Navigate to the correct course asset (you may need to open it to see individual items). Select the item.

You will know you were successful when the highlighted text flashes yellow and then shows the hyperlinked text. 

Adding Hyperlinks to Images (Buttons)

To hyperlink an image or button, you will select the image, then choose the Link image from the RCE toolbar. You might choose the carrot next to the image which provides more options such as "External Links" or "Course Links." 

Either paste the link and save or when you choose "Course Links" a table will slide out on the right side. Navigate to the correct course asset (you may need to open it to see individual items). Select the item.

You will know you were successful when the selected image flashes yellow. Save the page and then test the link!
