At the start of a new term, even though your courses have been automatically made you will need to set them up just as you did at the beginning of the school year. The list below is meant to guide you through things you will likely need to do to get your course fully set up and ready to go.

Copy your syllabus
Move/copy your home page & reset links - Note – Be sure to check any links you made. Depending on if you copy over the content you linked to, you may need to relink to your current course pages/content/links. If you imported, it should automatically update.
Move/copy modules or assignments you need in new term

In Settings:

Add a grading scheme
Grade total (uncheck to allow)/Hide Grade Distribution graphs - Note: While different, these are both in the same place.

Turn on Features - e.g. Turn on “New Quizzes” or Learning Mastery Gradebook
- NEW 2023-2024 - Enhanced Gradebook Filters will be the default
Navigation check - Double-check your Course Navigation.
Add external apps/tools
Public Course Index and Syllabus Access

And finally...

PUBLISH - Note: Students will NOT be able to see your course until the start of the new term, EVEN if you publish.
