Maywood Chorale is a course designed for motivated 7th and 8th grade students to apply musical skills as they continue to create and experience performance through a choral ensemble. A harmonious ensemble cannot be achieved without embedding social and emotional skills for communication, collaboration, and self-monitoring in daily rehearsals. Student musicians will experience a breadth of music repertoire while deepening their skills in musical literacy, including sight-reading, written expression of music, score study, singing, and performing.
