Throughout this course, we will use the workshop model to focus on reading, writing, speaking, and communication skills, and study different genres of reading and writing styles. In this class, you will work to analyze literature, which will include class novels, independent reading books, short stories, and poems. Instruction is organized into units that include reading workshops, writing workshops, class novels, and major writing assignments.
