This fun art class is designed to expose students to a variety of art experiences through drawing, painting, and building sculpture. The elements of art are integrated into projects like metal tooling, bilateral butterflies, 3d popsicles, and “A Circle of Repeats.” Children get to work with many materials in this class, including colored pencils, markers, acrylic paints, watercolors, metal, collage and fabric. This class ties some art lessons to academic curriculum such as Geometry and Geography, and it offers both individual and collaborative work opportunities.
