We’ll start the year off with the tiniest living things (cells) and how larger living things are structured (like you and me!). Later, we’ll move into why living things have certain characteristics (genetics) and end the year with how all of these living things fit together in the environment (ecology).

Our goal is for every student to grow as a student and scientist in our classes. Students will strive to master concepts, processes, and skills to perform scientific inquiry through hands-on activities, simulations, modeling, projects, readings, and guided instruction.
