A one-semester course covers 20th and 21st century history, from the Russian Revolution and end of World War I to contemporary issues. Students will examine patterns of continuity and change across global history, and strengthen historical thinking skills, including critical examination of documents, using evidence to develop and prove historical arguments, and examining biases.
