World History 1 is a semester long Social Studies class that is meant to introduce foundational skills for high school social studies.  Students develop their knowledge of historical thinking & writing, chronology, eras, turning points, major ideas, individuals and themes of world history in the early modern era (roughly from 15th century to the 19th centuries).
