Course Description
Symphonic orchestra challenges all musicians to refine their repertoire of skills they have been developing over the past several years. The class is fast-paced and requires dedicated practice. Students will work on arrangements of music that will stretch their abilities to the limits, while still having time to enjoy the musical experience. As a member of a large performance ensemble you will be expected to maintain a level of proficiency throughout the year on your instrument and learn new music as we progress.

Required Materials
Good quality instrument and accessories in working order
String Basics Book 3 for your instrument

Pencil for each rehearsal and home practice
Music stand, for home practice
Concert Attire – Concert Black (More information will be following)
Black Binder with sheet protectors for orchestra music
Metronome and tuner (with clip on microphone) for school and home practice
