This course is designed not simply teach leadership skills, but also to help students develop and utilize their own leadership talents and gifts. Students will reach this end by learning to develop a community within our classroom, challenging themselves to grow personally, studying the styles of leadership, particularly servant leadership, and learning and modeling the qualities and habits of effective leaders. By the end of the semester, students will use their leadership skills and developed influence to make a difference within their school community.
