Japanese 1 introduces the spoken and written Japanese and its culture. You will engage in meaningful communication on a variety of topics drawn from everyday life as you develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. You will learn Hiragana, Katakana, basic sentence structures and some Kanji.
