The overarching goal of this lab-based science course is for students to observe & explain the natural & human-made surroundings through the lens of chemistry. The course uses a combination of lectures, discussions, problem-solving in small groups & laboratory investigations for students to develop a solid understanding of the fundamental theoretical concepts about what constitutes matter.
