Viewing Past Term Grades

After a trimester or semester has passed, courses move to "Past Enrollments." Students and observers will still have access to past enrollment courses in a view-only capacity. This includes viewing courses modules, assignments, syllabus, and grades. 

To access past enrollments you should use the web-browser version of Canvas. Access your account and from the global navigation, select "Courses" and then choose "All Courses."

Once you access all courses, you will scroll past current enrollments to past enrollments. Note that they are generally sorted with the most recent at the top:

 

Choose the course you want to view the grades for by clicking the linked text. From the course navigation, choose "grades."

 

You can now view the past grades including missing and late assignments, teacher comments, and rubric scores. Not all assignments will be available to open and view the course work depending on the assignment type. For example, quizzes will not be available after a course end date.
