Physical Science is the study of nonliving objects and systems, particularly the study of energy and matter. Chemistry is the study of how matter interacts and transforms, while Physics is the study of how matter is affected by energy. This class will develop your proficiency in scientific practices (conducting investigations, analyzing and interpreting data, modeling, mathematical thinking, and constructing explanations), as you demonstrate your understanding of the following four topics in Chemistry and Physics: Forces and Motion, Energy, Waves, and Matter.

This class is offered to students who are interested in learning to play a band instrument. Through this course, we will explore the beginning elements of reading music, proper playing techniques, proper practicing techniques, positive individual participation in a musical ensemble and how to enjoy music beyond the classroom walls.
