    Chemistry is a yearlong laboratory science course which builds upon itself in terms of content and skills. We have an emphasis on lab skills, scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem solving. Chemistry is a quantitative science and students do a significant amount of math in this course.

  • AP BIOLOGY A_Stephens_S1

    An advanced biology course with a required Advanced Placement test in May. Covers Ecology, Biochemistry, Cells, Cellular Energetics, Cell Signaling, Genetics, Gene Expression and Regulation, and Evolution. Biology and Chemistry must be taken first.

  • CHEMISTRY B_Lattanzio_S2

    Chemistry is a yearlong laboratory course that emphasizes lab skills, scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem solving.  Emphasis will be placed on acquiring fundamental chemistry concepts (including atomic structure, chemical bonding, thermochemistry, chemical reactions and more) through an active learning classroom.

  • SCI FORENSICS A_Robins_S1

    This lab-based science course and a CTE credit that explores the scientific basis of forensics. This course allows learners to: Utilize the scientific method and knowledge across fields of study (physics, chemistry, biology, etc.). Collect and analyze crime scene evidence to enhance critical thinking and reasoning skills. Receive hands-on experiences (labs) that develop skills for success in a multitude of career paths. Explore different career avenues and build 21st century skills.
