Recovery Plans: (Feel free to adjust or rephrase this language but know that it comes directly from the MOU and is district policy, and therefore any adjustments should still accurately reflect the principles laid out herein) Students will have recovery opportunities for grades below 80% on coursework that substantially impacts the student’s course grade. These opportunities may have conditions that include but are not limited to time-bound windows, initial test corrections, reflection assignment, complete missed unit homework. Please read below to understand those conditions for this course (explain your policy below)
- Students are provided an opportunity to recover from a grade below 80% for coursework that significantly impacts a students course grade
- On recovery opportunities students may recover up to 80% of the assignments original value (*per the Secondary Grading Practices MOU this threshold may be adjusted upward by choice of the educator...feel free to explain and/or articulate those factors here)
- Access to recovery is available on all assessments or student work that significantly impacts a student's grade
Homework type/purpose/volume/frequency: type of homework and purpose for each type of homework assignment and what volume and frequency can students expect
