  • CONCT CHORALE A_Price_S1

    The LHS Concert Chorale is a class open to all students in grades 9 through 12 who are enthusiastic about singing and dedicated to improving their musical skills. Students will learn advanced elements of vocal production and music reading, and sing a wide variety of selections representing different styles, cultures, and historical periods. Performances for school, community and music festivals outside of the school day are part of the class curriculum, and participation is required.

  • IB PHYS 1 HL A_Bird_S1

    In this course students will explore the fundamental principles that govern the physical world. This is a relatively fast-paced course that will both prepare students for university-level physics courses. This course is the first of a two year progression that prepares students for sitting for the Higher Level exam in May of their senior year. This course fulfills one (1) college prep science requirement, as outlined by the Higher Education Board of the State of Washington (HEC Board), as a lab-based or algebra-based science course.

  • GUITAR 1_Tanner_S1

    Guitar 1 is a beginning guitar class designed to take students from learning how to hold a pick to strumming favorite songs. This is a performance-based course and students will perform together as a class, in small groups, and solo on a regular basis. Students will have the opportunity to learn the music they want to learn as well as American rock/pop classics. Come to class ready to sing (at least as a class) as well as play the guitar.

  • SP ED TUTOR 1_Mackonya_S1

    Being a peer tutor provides a chance for students with and without disabilities to work together in inclusive educational settings. Being a peer tutor increases access for students with disabilities to both general curriculum and to all of the activities of a typical high school student. Additionally, being a peer tutor encourages positive social interactions and social relationships to develop between students with and without disabilities. You will be a part of our LRC2 classroom community which includes teachers, paraeducators, specialists, fellow peer tutors as well as students with disabilities

  • GUITAR 2_Tanner_S1

    Guitar 2 is designed for students who are building on skills learned in Guitar 1 as well as players who are quite accomplished. This is a performance-based course and students will perform together as a class, in small groups, and solo on a regular basis. Students will have the opportunity to learn the music they want to learn as well as American rock/pop classics. Come to class ready to sing (at least as a class) as well as play the guitar! Students will learn songs as a class as well as work on independent projects.
